Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminium.

The aluminium sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick frame which is attached to the back to set the print off of the wall. This produces a subtle shadow behind the artwork for added depth.

Metal with mettle. Has a nice ring to it don't you think.
